Understand exactly how Spywave AI works—from Guardrails and indicators to presets you can customize or build from scratch.

Guardrails

Guardrails enforce risk, time, and behavior limits so the trading engine cannot exceed the parameters you define.

  • Max Daily Loss – hard limit on total loss per trading day.
  • Per-Trade Risk – cap on the risk per individual trade or contract set.
  • Time Window Guardrails – specify which hours of the session the engine may trade.
  • Volatility Guardrails – block trading when volatility is outside your comfort range.
  • Trade Count Limits – limit how many trades may execute in one session.

Indicators

Spywave uses indicators as conditions inside presets, so each playbook follows clearly defined technical rules.

  • RSI – measure of momentum and overbought/oversold conditions.
  • VWAP – intraday volume-weighted price for trend and mean-reversion logic.
  • EMA Stacks – short vs long EMAs to identify momentum shifts.
  • Volume Spikes – unusual volume relative to recent history.
  • ATR / Range Filters – filter setups by recent price range and volatility.

Presets & Custom Playbooks

Spywave offers preset playbooks plus full customization so you can tailor entries, exits, and Guardrails.

Preset Examples

  • Morning Momentum – focus on opening drive moves.
  • Range Fade – fade extremes when price reverts toward VWAP.
  • End-of-Day Scalps – short-duration scalps into the close.

Use the preset builder to define entries, exits, and risk rules. Save, reuse, and refine your custom presets over time.

Brokerages (Coming Soon)

Spywave AI is built to connect to supported brokers using secure, encrypted APIs. When integrations are available, you’ll log in directly with your brokerage through the broker’s own secure flow.

The trading engine operates on your existing brokerage account, following your Guardrails and presets. Spywave AI does not hold customer funds and does not store brokerage passwords.
